Preparations

Will put up more when more reports are submitted.

There should be a lot of interesting learning points, noting the number of "funny" incidents.
a) Models made at home was too large to go through the door.
b) Pariticapants came away with scraped knees and recommending knee pads as essentials
c) creative uses of the rolling pins

Publicity

The poster on the left was publicised in many of the local newspaper and magazines on different days leading to the event. It appeared in newspapers targeted for students as well in both English and Chinese.

It appeared in Yahoo news, although there are inaccuracies in the report due to the time when Ronald was interviewed for report to the time the King Cobra was completed. The original target could not be met because sufficiently big paper could not be found and the space for the display was rather limited. In addition, the manpower for folding the snake turned up much lesser than requested. Since we strived for accuracy, we cannot made an exceptionally long snake that is not correctly proportional in size to the rest of the snake.

The event was reported in the local newspapers the following day 12 March.

The final length of the King Cobra was 149 feet and 3 inches or 45.5 metres. The height was about 11 feet or 3.4 metres.
