All Books mentioned here were bought before
1981 when I joined the British Origami Society (BOS) unless otherwise stated.
| This
is the most important book to me. It has the most profound effect on me
leading me to love origami very much.
I first came across it around mid 70s. At that time, I sketched whatever I could in my little notebook and slowly folded from there. I came across it later and made a copy of it. This was when I knew nothing about copyright and photocopying was yet to be illegal. I bought
two copies of the reprint!

These are not reprints. They are hardcover books and were acquired before 1981. |

| Last but not least,
two books by Samuel Randlett
Again this was copied when I know nothing about copyright and photocopying was yet to be illegal. I have searched the world for these two books even in second hand bookstores and in bookstores that deal with antique books and so far I have not found one that sells either one of them. I hope they will reprint them one day. I am more than willing to get 2 copies of each. |

Reviewing origami books - J.C. Nolan, Robert Harbin, John Montroll
Reviewing origami books - Francis Ow, Edwin Ee, David Brill, Dave Petty
I do not know Japanese but need not know the language in order to learn models from it. However, I may not be able to do them justice if I am not able to comprehend any theoretical discussion of origami. I have plenty of books from Yoshihide Momotani and Tomoko Fuse. I am not sure if those books can be purchased at AMAZON.com or at FASCINATING-FOLDS.com. I am not even sure how to search for Japanese origami books.
